As a follow-up to Thursday’s article on reading, I’ve compiled a list of books. These reads are doctrinally rich, yet written in a way that any young person can easily understand. They are better books; catalysts that can stretch us, grow us, and draw us deeper into a relationship with God. (Not to mention there incredibly well-written!)
Don’t Waste Your Life by John Piper
Just Do Something by Kevin DeYoung
This Changes Everything by Jaquelle Crowe
The Holiness of God by R.C. Sproul
Shadow of the Almighty by Elisabeth Elliot
A Praying Life by Paul E. Miller
Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris
The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis
The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom with John and Elizabeth Sherrill
What better way to spend your Sunday afternoon than with a rich book in hand? (And maybe a hot cup of coffee!)
Have a joyful Thanksgiving, friends.
Bethany J.
