I met Sara Barratt in the Young Writer’s Workshop.
As the community grew, I found in her more than a teen who doodles words. I found a young woman with wisdom beyond her years and a heart exploding with love for Jesus and a God-given talent for crafting articles.
I was inspired.
One day last summer, I emailed Sara (a little desperately). I was a teen launching myself into the world of serious writing, but I couldn’t find the diving board.
Sara answered my questions and encouraged me with words like these:
You’ve honed your writing, learned a lot, and cultivated consistency. Now, you can start reaching out and building upwards. I think you’re ready.
Before she wrote a book, before she launched a riot, Sara Barratt impacted me. Now, she’s impacting Christian teens everywhere.
Love Riot is a fiercely challenging, uplifting, and kindling book. It’s a fruit of Sara’s real love and contagious passion.
Sara’s book impacted me because Sara Barratt has impacted me as a friend and sister.
Or check it out on Amazon here.
Sara seems like such an inspiring person! I’ve read a couple of her articles, and her book looks fantastic. ❤
