My 5 Favorite Things About Thanksgiving Day
My favorite holiday of the year is only four days away! Today I have listed for you my top five favorite things about Thanksgiving Day. Here goes…
- Watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
- The smell of pumpkin pie (not the taste)
- Turkey cookies*
- Family laughing and visiting around the table
- The annual family ping-pong tournament
*Turkey cookies have been a Thanksgiving tradition for the kids in our family who don’t exactly appreciate pumpkin pie. Sugar cookies slathered in chocolate icing and decked out in candy corn “turkey feathers” and M&Ms are about the essence of these glorious treats.
