I can’t tell you how pumped I am to officially begin this hobby blog, sharing the truths that the Lord lays on my heart with what I hope will become a growing number of young Christians like me.
As a subscriber to Bethany J’s Journal, I want to give you a basic idea of how this whole thing will work. I hope that you will bear with me, a brand new baby blogger, as I embark on this journey! And please note that while the majority of this journal will be written from the perspective of a teen to teens, Christians of all ages are welcome here. I would honestly appreciate insights and feedback from Believers further along in the journey than myself.
With that said, let me give you an overview.
First of all, Bethany J’s Journal is a blog designed to tune the hearts of young people to God’s Word and the importance of biblical theology. Written from a teenager’s perspective, my goal is to remind my generation that their faith is not a thing to be taken lightly. I am learning so very much, and this blog is a platform through which I can pen my thoughts, insights, and random joys that the Lord gives.
As a member of my email list, you will receive an email each time I post a new piece of content. My plan is to post an article every other Thursday (bi-weekly), as well as what I call a Sunday Afternoon Snippet each (you guessed it) Sunday afternoon.
The majority of articles are not lengthy, and in the future I would love to add occasional testimonies of grace from other Christ-seeking people, both young and old, that I have been privileged to get to know. Sunday Afternoon Snippets will range from containing things like the lyrics to a hymn, notes from a sermon, quotes, audio blips from other Christian resources, or other fun or thought-provoking stuff.
Though this is all I have for now, I can’t wait to see how this project grows, Lord willing, and am so grateful to each one of you for being the subscribers to get me started!
I pray that we both are challenged deeply in our faith by this endeavor. Thank you immensely for reading Bethany J’s Journal.
